Pierre Bienvenu
Mr. Bienvenu specializes in international commercial arbitration, resolving disputes
in a wide variety of industry sectors including international distribution and joint
ventures, construction, telecommunications and aeronautics. He has been included in the
World’s Leading Lawyers Directory, the Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, and
The Canadian Legal Expert Directory, where he is recognized for his expertise in International
Commercial Arbitration. Fluent in French and in English, Mr. Bienvenu holds an LL.M. from the
London School of Economics, is an active member of the International Bar Association, a Fellow
of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London, England, a Member of the Commercial Panel
of the International Center of the American Arbitration Association, and an alternate member on
the Advisory Committee on Private Commercial Disputes under the North American Free Trade
Agreement. Among many other important international arbitrations, Mr. Bienvenu has been
appointed by the Secretary General of the Commonwealth to serve on an Independent Review Body
on the operations of select member governments. He is a partner in a leading North American
