Robert Fries is a law partner and ADR professional in San Francisco
California, with 30 years experience.

After completing his J.D. at Stanford University (Phi Beta Kappa, Order of
the Coif), Mr. Fries clerked with the U.S. District Court, Northern
District, California. Trained in ADR at the Center for Mediation in Law,
Stanford Law School, he is a registered mediator with a California Appellate
Court. His ADR experience includes contract disputes, fraud, unfair business
practices, trade secrets, real estate, wrongful discharge, and a broad range
of commerical matters.

Mr. Fries has lectured on law and ADR at Stanford Law School and Stanford
Business School, the California Hotel and Motel Association, the National
Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, the Litigation Section of the
American Bar Association, and the Labor and Employment Section of the San
Francisco Bar Association. He is a member of the California Dispute
Resolution Council, The Mediation Society, and the American Bar Association
(ADR Section).
