
Rodrigo Barahona
Rodrigo
Barahona is an international commercial arbitrator whose distinguished
career includes serving as the Deputy Minister for International Trade
for Costa Rica, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Costa Rica,
and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Costa
Rica.
Mr. Barahona
received his Doctorate of Laws degree from the University of Costa Rica
and his extensive post-graduate studies include contract law and
commercial arbitration at the Faculty of Law, University of Florence,
Italy, and U.S. and international trade law through the U.S. Department
of Commerce in Washington, the Land Reform Training Institute of Taiwan,
and the Korean Development Institute.
Mr. Barahona
is a member of the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of Costa Rica
fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian. He has been a Visiting Fellow
at the Faculty of Law, University of Colorado and Professor of
Environmental Law at the University of Florida. |
