
Dr.
Raines is Assistant Professor, Conflict Management,
Master's of Science Program, Kennesaw State
University. Dr. Raines received her Ph.D. in Public
Policy from Indiana University in 2002. Dr. Raines
is a frequent lecturer at U.S. and international
conferences focusing on dispute resolution and is
widely published, including Conflict Resolution
Quarterly, The Ohio Journal of Dispute Resolution,
and Global Environmental Politics. Apart
from her academic leadership in the area of dispute
resolution, Dr. Raines is a highly experienced
practitioner, serving as a resolution professional
in over 1500 civil and domestic disputes, with an
emphasis on environmental and employment matters.
She co-authored “Lessons Learned from Two Decades of
Mediation at the United States Environmental
Protection Agency” Public Administration Review
(PAR) December 2001. Dr. Raines has designs
and evaluates ADR programs for government agencies,
including the United States Postal Service’s REDRESS
Program, and is a Member of the International
Association of Conflict Management.
