Terry Trantina
Mr. Trantina is a member of a New York Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department where he specializes in Commercial, Employment, Healthcare, Construction, and Insurance Litigation and Appeals. Mr. Trantina is also an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University Law School, ADR Courses. He has been a Neutral Mediator in over 400 mediations and an Arbitrator in over 250 Arbitrations in private and court-annexed proceedings. Mr. Trantina is a member of the ABA E-Commerce and ADR Task Force. He is the Vice-Chair of the ABA Dispute Resolution Section Arbitration Committee and the ABA Business Law Section Dispute Resolution Committee. He is the Co-Chair for the ABA Business Law Section’s AD Hoc Committee on Consumer Arbitration, the Director of the New Jersey Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section, and Secretary and Member of the New York City Bar Association Arbitration Committee.
Mr. Trantina is the author of “Consumer Arbitration in the U.S.”, London Court of International Arbitration (London, March 1999), “One Clause Doesn’t Fit All”, ABA Section of Business Law “Business Law Today” magazine, March/April 1999, reprinted by Business Laws, Inc. in “Law Department Management Advisor” magazine, November 1999, and second reprinting in CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution “Alternatives” magazine, May 2001; and “A Constructive Compromise”, ABA Section of Dispute Resolution “Dispute Resolution” Magazine, Fall 1998. Mr. Trantina is a panelist on the ABA, PLI, and ICLE Programs on Drafting ADR Clauses. Mr. Trantina graduated from the University of Santa Clara School of Law in the top 5% of his class, and was an Honors Student at Notre Dame where he obtained his B.A.
