Deciding to use the Electronic Courthouse

At this important first Step the parties must decide whether the Electronic Courthouse is appropriate for their dispute. There are 6 key questions:

  1. Are the parties motivated to settle their dispute?
      
  2. Is the dispute of sufficient size, importance or complexity to warrant the time and effort in achieving a resolution?
      
  3. Is the dispute of sufficient size, importance or complexity to warrant the time and effort involved in achieving a resolution?
      
  4. Are all parties to the dispute seeking an alternative to litigation? ... a faster, less acrimonious and less expensive alternative?
      
  5. Are the parties accustomed to working online or willing to try?
      
  6. Are the parties comfortable with The Electronic Courthouse's patent protected 8-Step process?

If the answer is YES, then the Electronic Courthouse is an efficient, cost-effective solution to your dispute.
